ON THE EDGE OF MADNESS
ON THE EDGE OF MADNESS
The new Airport BER in Berlin, has been one of the most ambicious and prestigeous Projects of Germanys recent history and will be remembered as one of the biggest desasters in construction and planning.
But while the world is laughing about the new art of german engeneering, the people in who`s middle that concrete-monster was dropped, find all of this far from amusing. A whole village was removed for the landing-strip, families have been removed and put somwhere else. The people of the sourounding villages have grown up in east Germany and are not ready to be the new Gate to Berlin. I have visited the families that life at the end of the runway.
