THE TUNNELS OF LAS VEGAS

Everyone knows Vegas, everyone knows the strip. But only very few people have seen what`s underneath the big Hotels, the grand Casinos and the neon-lights.
The dark flood-water-drains are home to many people that have tried their luck and have gambled away their former lives or have been hit heavily by the financial crisis. Those people tumble between the sewers and the casinos. Some have normal jobs, just cant afford the rent and have furnished and painted their piece of the tunnel. Others are heavy drug users and finance their habit with credit-hustling at slotmachines and can-collecting.
But all these people share the fear of monsoon-driven surges of desert flood water, that appears out of nowhere, few times a year.
It comes with a roar and takes everything, smashing furniture, washing away the few things people own and sometimes even takes a life.
